Some things aren't as easy to speak of lightly as others. Certain things like grouupwork, faithfulness, accountability, loyalty...

People around us are constantly searching for answers, answers to questions they have in their life. So what do we do, those who have already found their answer? Help others find theirs. There is only 1 answer, as we know, but many don't know, don't realise.

I owe you if I do not share with you what I have.

As a friend, a sister, a daughter, I'd like good things to happen to the people around me too, not only to me. The good news I know, I want to share. Will you be willing to listen? I pray for that short 5-10 minutes.

Throughout our growing years, we've heard more than enough phrases of adults saying: Don't trust anyone, only your family are reliable. And sometimes even they aren't. Sure, not everyone is reliable, if they were, there wouldn't be liars and crimes now. o.o

How do you know who to trust? On what basis in your trust upon?

Have you found the person who you know you can trust no matter what?

Patience, tolerance, determination, persistance.

We talk about these so easily, throw these words out of our mouths without caring about the impact it has on others. A new season where you are tested, where your own strength is not enough, you need to know when to depend on others, who to depend on. Examinations in schools may be easy, but tests in life are never the case. Yet with these tests come the results, survive through it and you gain a whole new season of experiences, a season of enlargement.

It's never easy climbing to greater heights, that's why doing down stairs is so much easier than climbing the stairs. So why do you climb? Because you get more exercise when you CLIMB instead of WALKING down. Because you gain the capacity to climb more, endure more when you dare to go higher, willing to go higher. That's why I want to climb, all the days of my life. I climb so I can help others up. To let others see the world from a different perspective.

Our life is constantly about tests, how we go through it, survive through it and live through it, so will you emerge victorious? Or will you fumble and fall?

I choose to end victoriously.

Haven't posted in a long long long while. D: Decided to try to revive this blog once again! :D

Haha. I've got such exciting news to share, can't wait for it, but can't say anything yet until it's officially announced. D: New season, new beginning, new experiences. :D

Nice nice Jacob bought me a lion today! :D How nice. :D He just came back from the washroom and showed me that lion that looks so similar to his. Haha. Shall attempt to upload a pic of it soon. I realised some similarity between all the lions that I have. :D

It's just giong to be a short post now. I'll try longer ones next time. Hopefully I can sustain this blog. :D Fuel my love for lions. :D

I haven't been updating my blog in a long long while. Haha. :D The past months have really taught me something.

Change is the only constant.

We change because we're imperfect. We change because we need to. We change because we're affected by our circumstances. We change because we mature. Only the perfect does not change. I look at my own life and find vast differences, 10 years ago and the me now. Those who know me now, would you ever have imagined that I was once so isolated from people that I didn't want to talk to strangers, spent time with only 1 person everyday, didn't mix around at all. Now, some of my friends who only knew me this year may be surprised. Have I really changed that much?

How do people who have never tried to understand others/ others tried to understand me, try to relate to others? These are skills to be taught and caught. You can't get everything from books. Sure, you can read about the skills, but ultimately you need to experience it and use the skills yourself.

I learnt. I'm not adept at it yet. But it's been fun learning. I like the change. People who don't like changes are stuck in the same place forever; because changes are everywhere. The atmosphere is changing, people around you are changing, circumstances are changing... In this ever-changing world, it is those who embrace change and are able to adapt to it who will experience the best of life.

These ideas were put into these designers for a reason.
To show the world His creativity.
To bring to light what Man has long misunderstood Him for. His creativity.

Creativity is the liveliness of the mind. :D
How lively is His mind?

There are a thousand and one different types of houses and more, but how many of them are actually homes?

Yes, there is a difference.

By definition from dictionary.com, a house is simply a building in which people live; residence for human beings. A home, however, is a place in which one's domestic affections are centered.

You may live in a house, but is it your home? Are you able to be yourself in the place? Are you able to do things in the house without feeling weird? Do you feel accepted in the place?

Sometimes, we all take our homes for granted. We somehow fail to realise that there're so many people out there who would be so willing to take our place, to be given a chance to live in a home where there's love and comfort; to be able to stay so close to your loved ones; to be able to be accepted just the way they are. There are many who have been forced to leave their homes for various reasons: work, education, disasters... Many whose homes have been wrecked by disasters happening.

If we don't cherish this home that we have, one day it will be taken from us. We need to be appreciative and grateful for what we have, so that we can give to those who don't.

One day, I want to build a house as pretty as those above, and call it my home. It's not simply an architectural structure that you're building, it's a family.

I was just wondering about something I noticed. It's something that I've posted before too, but I feel like addresssing it again. Haha.

Isn't it somewhat sad how some people are so disbelieving? That they just wouldn't trust another person. That they want to see to believe. But if you can see it, how is it trusting? How is it having the faith to believe? It's already there.

Isn't it ironic how everyone wants evidence, everyone wants the facts before they're willing to believe? Come on, we're humans, we can't have everything we want. We can't dig out all the facts we want.

If the person really doesn't want to believe, no amount of facts and truths will be able to make him/her believe, because after every evidence presented to him/her, he/she will come up with more questions to stump you. If the person wants to believe, he/she will trust you and have faith in you that you are saying the right things, that you are reliable, because he/she knows that in the end, you will be able to produce results. That is called having faith.

The most profound form of faith is ultimately the one where a perfect being believes in an imperfect being, despite seeing him/her fail countless times. That is when you know nothing else can ever stop you from achieveing what you want to, because you've got the trust of someone higher.

We're all in this moderized society, all we can do is to try our very best, do what we can, and the rest would just work out by itself. Especially in someplace where things are very competitive, all the more we have to our best to shine above the rest.

Come on, have faith in yourself, as someone else does.

Yo. Haven't posted in a while. Quite a while. Haha. :D

Yupp, council investiture was finally over last Wed, putting an end to the many rehearsals we had, and marking the start of our new journey with the shiny golden badge! :D

April's Fool at VJC was awesome! :D

First, early in the morning, we were greeted Merry Christmas. Then there was this great freeze in the canteen, where a lot of people just froze. The main point is that a teacher joined in too! haha. There was this part in the canteen that was boarded off because it was "reserved".

Then they tried to have this VJC Nissan Challenge with another teacher's car, where the winner would win away the car. :D

Then the usual "out of order" signs were pasted everywhere, on the plasma tvs, water coolers.
The funniest thing in the canteen was the toilet bowl at the middle of the empty stall. Really a toilet bowl. haha.

All the annnouncements in the morning assembly were super funny too, including not washing your hands after going to the toilet so that you can save water, together with the Earth Hour thing. Gosh. Another was that LT1 was flooded and that any lessons in LT1 would have to be shifted to the field. lol.

Then some of the cars in front of the LTs had this pasted on them : This car affects the movement of students from the canteen to the LTs... please move them or something like that.

Then what my class did for the first lesson with our CT was that we all faced the back of the class for the whole lesson. We had to present our answers, so we just had to use the back of the class, the walls for our presentation. o.o lol. But we used paper la.

Halfway through the lesson, mayer and jonathan suddenly came in, saying that they wanted to do a survey for infocomm (ever the useful excuse) and just stood behind us. Then our CT was like asking what class they were from and they said they were from our senior class. Then after that he asked them to see what was wrong with the question that was presented on the board. Then mayer tried to leave after that. lol.
And it turned out the half the senior class was outside our class waiting. haha. :D

I heard mayer crashed the econs lecture too, but since i didn't take econs, i dont really know what happened. lol.

There were also a number of people who faked illnesses and stuff. Quite amusing.

There were also a few classes who exchanged uniforms. As in, the guys wore girls skirts and the girls wore the guys pants. it was super hilarious lol.

Can't wait for next year's April's fool. Wonder how it'll be like. :D

Hmm, my posts haven't been very up to date so far. o.o
ah wells.

Been pretty busy these few weeks. Don't really feel like posting. LOL.
But there're people who're much busier than me. So I can't exactly complain.
I'm pretty excited for this sat though. It's going to be very fun! :D

Quite a few things have been happening these few days and I've learnt quite a bit from the people around me. No matter what happens, there's always a reason for us to be optimistic and to cheer ourselves on, believing that there's always someone for you to depend on.

Some things may not go so smoothly for us but we were sent not to give up on the race halfway, we took part in the race not to stop and walk back without finishing, but we were sent to finish the race which we've started. So no matter what, I'm going to finish this race and trust in the wonders that have been planned ahead for me.

There's no speculation here. i do not need to see to believe. I already do, because it's the truth that's in my heart. If I need to see before I can believe, then what kind of trust or faith is that? o.o Come on, be serious. You don't need to actually see it to believe it. It's there. You just know that it's there.
