The rain can pour on down.
Flooding the roads.
Rushing down the drains.
Flowing through the canals.
Into the rivers and the seas.
You feel the same as the weather.
Everything seems so gloomy.
It feels like everything's going wrong.
Then after,
the sun comes out.
Shining brightly on the grass.
Drying up the rain.
All of a sudden, everything seems to right itself.
You feel bright and happy.
Like nothing can stop you now.
Who's your sun?
What's your sun?
At times when you go through difficulty,
What do you do?
Who do you look for?
Sure, the rain pours down on you,
but like all weather,
sunshine comes after rain.
It will come.
No matter what happens,
sunshine is always promised after rain.
Like every rain, storm or pour,
I always wait for the sun to come out.
Rainstorms are like the valleys that we go through.
Dark, scary.
But so long as we continue walking ahead,
the light at the end of the tunnel will come.
The sun will shine its light.
As promised.
Life's never a bed of roses,
but even if it is,
there will be thorns we'd have to trek through.
We can choose not to walk through the roses,
but then we'll never get used to it,
we'll never get used to going through troubles.
Then when it comes head-on,
we become confused.
We become clueless.
'Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil
For You are with me
Your rod and Your staff
they comfort me.'
Things may not seem right now,
but eventually,
the sun will rise again.
My sun will come again,
to shine its light unto the Earth.

Paper.
The tool on which we write things.
The tool which, at present day, is practically indispensible.
It's so smooth.
So straight.
So thin.
So useful.
A plain white piece of paper is just like an innocent child.
You feel like you don't want to write on it.
Because if you do, the paper becomes tainted.
Yet, paper can give us the slightest, yet one of the worst cuts.
'Paper cuts can cause surprisingly acute pain since they usually stimulate a large number of skin surface pain receptors (nociceptors) in a very small area of the skin. Because the shallow cut does not bleed very much, the pain receptors are left open to the air, ensuring continued pain. This is exacerbated by irritation caused by the fibers in the paper itself, which may be coated in chemicals such as bleach.' (Wikipedia)
That innocent little piece of paper is strong enough to give us one of the worst cuts.
It bleeds, even when cuts from penknives and the like can't.
Funny?
Sometimes the smallest things can make us exasperated, angry, frustrated.
It's not the big things we have to always bother with, it's the small.
Sometimes the smallest things require us to be so detailed, that one small mistake can ruin everything.
But when things go wrong, what do you do?
When you have a cut, what do you do?
Cleanse the wound, get a plaster and put it over.
Cover the wound.
Clean the wound.
Treat the wound.
Same thing happens.
When something goes wrong, we need to clean it first.
Then we need to treat the 'wound'.
And, like all cuts, (other than scars) it will heal.
Sama-sama.
Did something wrong?
Clean it. Repent.
Treat it. Ask for forgiveness.
Cover it and let it heal. Don't keep thinking about that mistake.
FOR NOTHING HAS THE POWER TO SAVE
BUT YOUR NAME
