HAPPY BIRTHDAY VALERIE!
A great woman of God, I'm proud to have her as my leader.
Thank you, Val, for all the inspiration, care you've showered on me.
Despite your busy schedule, you still managed to take time out to care for us, to help us.
However can we thank you enough?
And I thank You, Abba, for placing Val in my life.

Second one I'm doing for Celestine. 1. What disappoints you the most? 2. Where will you go if someone sponsors you a tour ticket? 3. What's your favorite thing to do? 4. Do you think money can buy happiness? 5. If you can have one dream to come true, what would it be? 6. Do you believe you can survive without money? 7. What are the qualities you look for in your future partner? 8. If you win $1 million, what would you do? 9. What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you recently? 11. What makes you happy? 12. What type of person do you hate the most? 13. Where do you see yourself 10 years down the road? 14. If you could have a superpower, what would it be? 15. What do you think is the most important thing in your life? 16. What do you do when you're alone? 17. If you have a chance, which part of your character would you like to change? 18. One word to describe yourself. 19. What was your most unforgettable experience in school?
How some people can be so negative and refusing to open up to others.
Tour? Alone or group?
Depends, I guess. Maybe somewhere in Europe? =)
Although I'd like it if I know the language of the country I'm going, but it doesn't matter. =)
TSG, TGG.
Talking/ spending time with friends.
Money?
Some people believe money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you the things which make you happy. But I feel that these are all immaterial things, you can't bring them into the grave, they're only short-lived. What's the point? Might as well use the money to help others in need, you'll get more satisfaction that way.
Achieving the very goals I've been dreaming about.
Money? I think we need money to buy our basic necessities.
Water, food. Singapore doesn't allow people to beg anyway.
A few.
I'll just him know directly, thanks. =)
Give some to charity, some to the further research for science.
Keeping some for Abba's house. Keeping some for my house.
The rest, attempt to invest it somewhere.
Can't remember.
I have quite a few embarrassing things that have happened to me.
Somehow. That's why I don't want to remember and can't remember. =)
10. List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you?
[Celestine: Speaks well, fun and lame. ( is that a good point?)
An experience that makes me so touched.
People getting along well.
Hypocrisy, people who put words into others' mouths.
Oh, and people who do not do what they preach.
Someone still in the Wonderful House.
Someone still wanting to excel.
Someone who still dislikes the same kind of people.
Someone who holds fond memories of school life.
Fly, and it's superhuman flying speed. (Almost instantaneous)
TGG.
To excel in studies.
Blogging, blog-hopping, watching dramas, occasionally doing some TYS questions.
Really be able to relax.
Focus on self-discipline.
Time management.
Just Kelly.
I'm me. That's who I am. No need for your agreement.
I am who I am, and I'm proud of it.
Unforgettable ehh?
It's a fond memory.
Too long to put to words, too significant to shorten it.

Just decided to upload some pictures taken from Perth.
Picture-heavy post! =)
Note: Pictures are not in chronological order. =)
Hazwani, Melissa, Me
Pretty weird why they changed the rooms last minute and we got a double and a single bed even though there were only 2 of us. o.O
View of office at Orchard Glory Farm.
Taken from the nice little waterfall.
Was meant to be 2 hearts, but we were rushing for time, so...
Zarifah Hazwani Me Melissa
4 of us on the tree.
There's another one of Zee and I with Sir too, it was taken so that we can show the class that he actually wears our class tee. o.O
Hazwani Me Melissa Zarifah
On the boat after the sand boarding.
That's our coach right there, behind. He's a funny guy. =)
Some bird animal thing on a protruding branch.
Nice angle. =)
I think by this time you all should know who we are.
This was at somewhere near King's Park, can't remember the name.
Quite a few skyscrapers. Kinda like home. =)
Taken by CIs. =)
Wonderful place. Totally protecting the environment.
The view from the back of the chalet at Orchard Glory Farm.
Quite nice and serene, right?
The screen printing thing I did.
Too bad it's pink, but I like it. It has the signatures of my little buddy at the campfire, though she disappeared afterwards.
The chalets. From the chalet that I was staying.
The pot belly fireplace thing.
Lazy to rotate. =P
Shearing of the sheep.
The sheep looks almost happy to be sheared, even though she got some scratches.
This one has a little baby. She's pregnant. =0
The little cans they have on the plane are tiny.
But the biggie cans they served us at Perth was tall.
Pics of that might come after though.
Look at all the fluffy little clouds.
Look like white candy floss?
They look so soft. Hard to believe it's actually water vapour and it's wet. o.O
You see right in the middle? That's a little pine tree and the only one in the area.
Lookie at the frost. Isn't it cool?
Taken from the plane's window seat on the flight to Perth.
Camwhoring (Little bit) during dinner. We were waiting for everyone else to finish, I think.
Another frost-ie pic. Taken on the flight back to Singapore.
Worms on the hand. =)
Nice fountain thingy at King's Park.
The grand finale! It's super tall.
All the other small little fountain sprouts disappeared and everything was still for a moment or 2 before this giant appeared.
Calm before the storm. =)
Little caterpillar.
Can see, right?
Boom! Caterpillar changes into a butterfly!
They just flutter by, but I think it was too cold for them. They didn't even move. o.O
Kangaroo! =)
It suddenly appeared. Then all the people on the bus just went down to take pics, cause we weren't moving yet. After a bit of petting and stuff, it happily hopped into the honey farm. Then, because the door was glass, and only one of the 2 doors were open, the kangaroo didn;t realize that she was trying to get out of the farm through the closed glass door. Poor thing. People tried to get her to move to the other door but she didn't register. o.O In the end, Paul opened the closed door for her. everyone cheered. haha.
When we finally left, the farm owner was standing with it, waving the kangaroo's paw to us. Seems like the kangaroo visits often.
You can zoom in to see what they're wearing. The girls, at least.
It was some breast cancer awareness day. The ladies were all wearing purple bras outside to show their support for those diagnosed with breast cancer, to raise funds, I think. =) How supportive.
Little seagulls. Cute little birdies.
The sand dunes we sand boarded at.
Crescent NPCC, without CIs and sir though.
A nice little rainbow we saw on our last day.
It was a full rainbow. Super nice. =)
Another Jump shot! =)
Shadows. Lest we forget the wonderful times we had together.
Let silent contemplation be your offering.
Touched.
It's the eternal flame, never goes off.
All those times I had at Perth, I'll never forget. But most importantly, it was the friends I made over there.
Still remember on the second last day, when we were feeding the farm animals, Mr R. called the animals 'fatso', 'loner'. All sorts of names. Just because they didn't want to come over and eat the grass that he was holding out. That was hilarious, seeing him trying to bribe the animals, then poking them after that.
Mr L. was funny too. At first, he refused to feed, insisting that he was shy. After that, he finally took the hay and tried to feed, but the animals didn't want. Then he started to talk to them, saying, "If you don't eat these food I offer to you, then I poke your butt." And he really did that. The thick coating they had luckily protected them from the mean "claws" of Mr L. =)
Oh, I love the alpaca's head. So furry and cute. And it spits in your eye. Then Sir was squatting so close to it... But it didn't spit at anyone when we were there. Probably because it was busy eating. It was the only one there, I think. Only saw one.
Ah, the wonderful times we had.
But home is better.
Perth was great, but I missed home.
I missed service.
I missed E412.
I missed my friends in Singapore.

I look back on my life, and I see so many miracles.
Although it's only been just a year plus, but it's really a miracle that I stand here today, who I am, doing what I do, achieving what I achieve.
Because I know for one, that without the strength that comes from above, I would never have made it today.
But I think the greatest miracle of all was one which happened more than a year ago. Shan't tell you the details, but that miracle was totally dependent on the supernatural strength that comes from above.

GO E412!
Yeah!
ALIVE 2008!
E412 won 2 major events, the Super Transformation with E413, and the Outreach Proposal.
Wow. Still can't believe we won.
It's a miracle.
Because we were united and prayed together.
Thank You.
I believe this collaboration with E413 taught us many things, even though I was in Perth for most of the meetings, but I'm sure everyone brought something back from this collaboration. We helped each other. We worked together.
Not by human strength or power.
Birthed forth from prayer. I'm sure this brought us a step closer to our brothers and sisters, and also stronger in our faith.

My loved ones who truly care for me.
Shan't tell you the names, get it from someone else.
My confidence comes from above. =)
Actually it really depends on when.
1) People who talk without thinking about the consequences first.
2) People who do not do what they preach.
3) People who put words into others' mouths.
4) People who suck up to others.
5) People who refuse to change their bad attitude even though they have been told/reprimanded/ scolded countless times.

Hmmm, influence.
With great influence comes great responsibility.
That's the one line I think about when I hear the word "influence".
It's true, isn't it?
Look to history for the evidence.
Men of great power and influence have all along been in high statuses in society. These positions requires one to take up a great amount of responsibility.
As a boss, you are responsible for your workers' safety. As a worker, you are responsible for the work you hand up. See? The higher up you are, the heavier the responsibility. And of course, you have to maintain an image to the people around you.
I know of people who abuse their authority, they might have a good influence, but well...
I just know that my Daddy has great influence and He does great things. =)
He is responsible.
An awesome Father.

Hohoho, granted, Perth was wonderful, great, awesome, but I missed home.
Sure, having fun there for a few days with my friends was beyond what I ever imagined, but I missed home.
Going to Perth showed me many things, I saw the worst and goodness of others. Of how I could be so insensitive. And yet I saw the many many different personalities of others.
Going there, I realized how vulnerable I was without my Daddy. How I was so open to those temptations. How my tolerance level dropped to a minimum. Indeed, I can do nothing without You.
I saw how people could work together when there were so many differences between them, how people got irritated with each other, how friendly, sociable others could be. I realized how weak I could be. But my Daddy's wonders work upon the powerlessness of man. Thank You.
They hurt me, but You healed me.
Without You, nowhere I go will be satisfying.
Without You, nothing I do will be enough.

Oh, I think I forgot to talk about my experience on the train yesterday.
Talked so much about other stuff, but forgot about the train ride. Haha.
Yeah. so I ended at around 11+. Since we were meeting at 1.45, I had nothing to do for more than 2 hours. So I sat at the bus stop. The first bus came, and I decided against taking it. So I waited for the next bus. It actually managed to waste almost 20 mins while waiting. =)
Yeah, so I then took the train to Outram Park and just took the train. All the way. To Punggol. Yeah, and then I came back. To Clarke Quay. Almost wanted to take the train to Harbourfront and back again, but then decided that it'll be too long...
Yeah, so I got off and loitered around the control station for 5 mins, and went off to Central. The people having lunch there were like looking at me. o.O Geez. Then I walked upstairs. Looked at some clothes, but not long, since the staff were too free and decided to stand there and watch me. o.O It's not easy shopping. Geez.
Yeah, so, anyway, at 1.06pm, I had enough of shopping and slowly made my way back to the station, where I proceeded to use the time to memorize my verses. Then I saw Val and Michelle. =) So we made our way to grab a bite, but we didn't eat anyway, since we were not hungry. So we just sat there and talked. About stuff.
Yeah, so after that, the others came, and since it was like a "girls" thing, the guys had to stand from afar and wave to us. It was as if we were in a forbidden city. (As quoted from Val)
Yeah, so it was very interesting. =) And I realize that all my paragraphs start with "Yeah, so".
Haha, So now you all know how much I dislike shopping. Simply can't enjoy shopping as people do. Yeah, and I wonder where all my money go. Geez.

Have you ever thought about how your future would be?
How rich, successful, influential you'll be?
How do you see yourself 10 years down the road?
Would you still be the same person or would you have changed?
If so, how?
I've thought about it so many times, yet each time, only one answer comes to mind. Only one vision appears.
Me, out there in the world, using my gifts to the very best, serving the One and only King. Making a difference in this world.
Was talking about how heaven would be like with E412.
Of how wonderful it would be.
I can't wait to go to heaven, but I don't want to die yet. Because I have yet to serve God properly. Because I have yet to make a difference in this world.
A servant, a daughter, a friend, a soldier.
Each one of these positions have their own requirements, they are such different positions, yet one person can be all 4 of them. I want to be able to be like that.
You are awesome in this place.

A baby was whining on the bus today and made me think of something.
I realized that when we were young, once people looked at us, they would know how we were feeling, because when we were young, we'd throw a tantrum when we things didn't go our way, we'd cry if we wanted attention or something else, we'd laugh for the sake of it.
Yet now, so many people today, they can hide their emotions so well. They can fake a smile even though they may be furious or depressed. Hiding emotions, aren't these the things that make a person "fake"?
Don't get me wrong though, controlling your emotions is different from hiding your emotions. When you hide, you don't want others to know about it, but when you control, it's like you are super furious, but you control yourself from shouting, from getting too angry at the person.
I know people who are so ready to show their emotions. They won't hide and they can't control. On the other hand, there are people who can control and people who will hide their feelings.
It takes courage to show your emotions, but it takes willpower and strength to control your feelings.
By controlling I mean that, when someone is obviously upset in front of you, but you are horrendously happy about something else, you don't really need to keep telling the person how happy you are, because it'll just make the person even sadder. Of course, I don't mean that you become moody too, but just quieten down and accompany the person.
I guess different people have different ways of showing their emotions.
thisLION roared at
Today was powerful.
"What is faith without good works?"
true, you can be very faithful, have strong spiritual life, but so what if it doesn't show in your daily life?
I mean, people won't know that Who you are worshiping is good if His greatness doesn't show in your life, right? If people don't see the difference in you before and after you join a religion, then what's the point?
Powerful time at Power House.
Faith takes strength.
But it takes consistency to show others that your God is good.

Something is happening. I can feel it brewing.
Makes me think about how our own anger prevents us from building stronger friendships/ relationships.
Quarrels.
Fights.
Arguments.
They may be things that break up a relationship, but they are also the things which can build a relationship.
TRUST.
How much do we trust one another?
Sometimes, if we don't trust others, then it doesn't seem quite right, yet sometimes, too much trust can be a bad thing. Heard a story about a mother and daughter. The mother trusts the child too much, that if the daughter says anything, she will believe. That if the daughter says that she's hardworking in class, she doesn't use the computer for leisure at home, the mother takes in everything, simply refusing to listen to anyone else who deems otherwise. She insists that the daughter is a good girl no matter what the teachers say.
Sure, trust is good, but not too much of anything.
Spare the rod and spoil the child, some say. Maybe it's true in some ways.
That's why we receive challenges in life. They are the things our Father has planned for us, so that we may learn something from it, that we may emerge from it victorious. You see, He doesn't always spare the rod. He knows what is good for us. He will never give us more than what we can bear. Anyhow, we aren't alone in this anyway.
It's not by might, not by power.

Yesterday's brush with death got me thinking.
All of us, we already have a lifetime set for us. When we were born, and when we will die and leave this earth. May I ask who knows the exact date that they will die? Sure, you can predict the exact date of when a baby will be born, but who knows? The baby might turn out premature, or even late. Prediction is only prediction.
Now in this modern era, as we humans step further and further into the 21st century, human rights are better established, even women rights are granted and there is man and woman equality in many countries. Now what matters is your capability, not your gender or your family background. Of course, not every country is like that, but at least it is much much better than it was centuries ago.
I've been reading this book, "What if Jesus was never born?" It's a great book. Every person now, who reads books or even dates documents and stuff, are making reference to Christ. Even if they don't want it. Because B.C., if you didn't know, means, Before Christ. A.D., too, means Anno Domino, if I didn't spell it wrong. It means "In the year of the Lord". Almost every person on earth is making reference to the One who came 2008 years ago. Jesus Christ's arrival and ministry on earth was so impactful that it even dated the years.
There's more in the book, talking about how human rights, marriage rights, women rights, medication, education came about. All because of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Wednesday, June 4
Was almost run over by a car just now. Scared Dhanu and the rest out of their wits.
Let me explain.
We were waiting to cross the road (I shan't say where), happily waiting for the green man to come on. So, okay. The red light stopped some cars. Green man came on. I took one step onto the road, stopped, and turned back, wondering why the rest weren't moving. Then, Dhanu was shouting, "KELLY!" and pointed behind. So i turned around and a car was headed towards me. It totally went whooosh. Just like that. Even the people on the opposite side were astonished.
I escaped, unharmed. Luck, some may say, BUT IT WAS NOT A COINCIDENCE. Thank You.
After which, i just headed on straight. Wasn't very shocked. Just surprised. You see, it's not everyday that a car comes towards you, at full speed, when the green man has already come on for about 3-4 seconds, you know. Yeah. But I don't blame the driver. Maybe someone's injured on the car? Seriously injured? Or has some urgent urgent matter to settle? So long as no lives were harmed, I'd have no reason to blame the driver.
It was not merely luck that the driver managed to avoid me. You'd know the reason why if you knew where I was headed to and why. =)
I LIVE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU GAVE.
