Sometimes things just don't happen the way it should, but does that mean we just stand there and cry? Sure, for a while maybe, but after that, life goes on. No one's gonna stand there and watch you cry your whole life away, they'll just walk off.
Yeah, I can tell you that. My team didn't get into finals, but so what? I've gotten over it. The other team got in, and I'm truly happy for them. Sure I've cried over not getting in, but life still goes on. You ask me what I did to cheer myself up? I went for service and lifted it all up to the One who was grieving when He saw me cry. You see, when I'm sad, He's even sadder. When I'm happy, He's elated.
If you say you want to do well, if you say you want to make a difference, then you can't just stop there when you meet an obstacle. Life doesn't work like that.
Someone once asked me, " If you are a Christian, and your God does miracles, and if you all claim that He has a plan for you in life, if He can do everything, then why do you still have troubles?"
"Because everything was planned. Whatever adversity I go through, it is for my best. And it is only through these adversities that I renew my faith, that my trust in Him is strengthened."
Failures? Everyone has them. No one person has never encountered failure in their lives. Failure brings disappointment. I'm afraid of failing, too, but so what? Does that mean we just stop there and stop trying after one failure? I'd rather try many times, fail many times, then no never try at all. I'd rather fail physically then fail spiritually, because I know, that whatever I sow, I shall reap hundred fold in time to come.
My list of embarrassments and failures is extensive. But compare that list to the list that the One has meant for me to do, the former's just so small.
"who cares about getting into the finals? We know we deserve to be there and getting the top 10. or even top 5. Who cares about what they think. Team 2 did great. The scores just didn't capture that greatness."
This was what one of my squadmates said after we knew about our failure, so to say. This is a competitive world. Everyone's fighting for the top positions in life. Yet how many can actually reach the peak?
FAILURE
Fail Again.I Lift Up Reality Effusively
Sounds weird, but true. I lifted up all my failures into His hands.
Sometimes people don't act the way we want them to. But what can we do? Everyone's different. Do we hide in one corner and cry? No. We step out to face the person. Life is a lifestyle of service. We serve and help one another. If service did not come first, then there would not be any cleaners, teachers, government officials, civil servants... You get my point.
Failure is but another way for you to realise your mistakes and to keep on moving.
