This year has been the best and worst year ever.
Best= reunited with the Lord.
Worst= all the worst things happened.
But I guess life's like that. Things happen for a reason.
事出必有因, they say.
And I believe the Lord has put me in those situations for a reason.
My new year resolutions?
I shall keep it to myself.
Learning.
- Keep on learning. 活到老，学到老。Things to learn? Never-ending. There'll always be someone better than you. People keep learning. People keep discovering. That's what people are for, to discover and to learn from one another. Whoever said that only a child can learn from his/her parent? Or a student from a teacher? Adults can also learn from their children. Adults are just a role model or an example to follow.
Respect.
- What is respect? How do we earn it? Be someone everyone likes? 要被尊重就得先尊重别人。 Or to be someone of good measure, somene who can lead, do well... What does it take to be respected? And what does it take to respect? How do we show respect? Say "yes" to everything that person says? Or what?
Learn and respect.
People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Heard this so many times, but I guess I never got to explaining it and analysing it. How true it is.
Care.
- How to care for one another? Different people have different ways of showing their concern. Some people are not very comfortable at physical care/touch, and some aren't comfortable with those emotional kind... if you get what I mean. (I have no idea how to explain it anyway) How do we even know if the person really cares? Some people may say your parents will ALWAYS care about you, but look at the number of abortion and abandon cases. 父母的关爱是理所当然的吗？Not to say that your parents don't care about you, but people just take it for granted that parents will always care. Well, some don't. And what're you going to do about it?
Haha. I'm tired now. =( Got countdown and a birthday party later on. =0 五四三二一！
