Judge?
Who are we to judge people?
As their parent?
As their child?
As their friend?
As their brother?
As their sister?
So what? Does that give you the right to judge?
Being close to them? No. Not a single whit.
And because you're close to them, all the more you shouldn't judge them.
Judgement comes only when you're perfect in that area, then only can you judge. We're an imperfect world, we're an imperfect individual, so how can we judge?
We can only forgive. That's what imperfect people do.
But the perfect God in heaven, however, reserves the right to judge. Our time of judgement comes when our life on earth has ended.
End on earth= Start of new life in heaven.
Forigveness helps us to live with one another. Without forgiveness, the world would be full of hatred, unloving, unkind. That's why He came to this world to bring forgiveness to people, to bring healing to hearts and souls.
When we slander, we hurt.
When we forgive, we heal.
Forgive and forget?
Well, if you forgive, you forget. You don't forget, you don't forgive.
