I think this camp has made me learn alot.
I've built stronger friendships with friends I had already known, but I also built up a tough friendship among the others within this 3 days 2 nights camp. But it's more than just friendship, it's a family. We're all in the same family, brothers and sisters. Ever since I've once agin invited Him into my life, I'm not an only child anymore. I have millions of siblings, who, like me, love God, and that's the best things that God can give you. He gives you friends to help you in your journey to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
This camp, I've once again truly realised how important friendships are to us. Everyone needs someone, that's why God gave us to each other, to care one for another. Up until last night, I've never really even thought about how much I've helped/impacted others. And last night really told me how much help I've been in others' hearts, even though I never even knew it. That's why we have to thank our friends for.
Last night, after the "campfire", we were all asked to go around to our friends and thank them for all they've done in our lives. I never realised how strong I've made others through my actions, but I know that we'll all be growing in His Kingdom TOGETHER.
Only then did I realise how much more God has blessed me with. He blessed me with people around me to impact, even if they are a;ready children of God, people learn from one another. I've learnt something from them and they've learnt something from me. What more can I ask for in friendship, other than this kind of strong, selfless, caring friendship we share?
Even if what you once thought was impossible, through God, it will become possible. We love one another, we care for one another, because we love them for who they are. How then, if not through friendships, can we be the salt of the earth and the light of the world? If not through our actions in displaying friendliness or love for people, how then will people see the difference in us?
No one said it was easy to be a child of God, but we all say it is an honour to serve His Kingdom. His presence and love for people flows through us. We are His messengers.
With Him, even the faint-hearted can become strong-willed.
With Him, even the weak can become strong.
With Him, even the poor can become rich, for He wants His children to prosper.
With Him, even the impossibility can become a possibility.
With Him, people can walk on water.
With Him, even a lad's lunch can feed a multitude of 5000 men.
With Him, even the sick can be healed.
If He can do all these for others, what more can He do for you?
Writing this is so overpowering, I know You are here, with me.
