GOODNESS! HMT PAPER IS FINALLY OVER!
I'm not sure if I did well in paper 1, cos the question was, "一个难忘的微笑", meaning, in english, "An Unforgettable Smile". They gave a simple question to see how we would all phrase it as in our compo. I had no choice. Anyways, I had wanted to do the narrative question all along, why else would I bother to memorise all those good phrases?
Oh wells. I don't think I used many phrases though, but I think I did use quite a few idioms and stuff. I wrote about the genuine smile on a person's face after you have helped him/her. Well, it was the only one I could think off. I don't think I went out of point though.
I did the formal letter. External Letter. Because the freaking Internal Letter was so freaking difficult. But then I found out that SO MANY people also wrote theExternal Letter. Maybe I should have chosen the Internal Letter. But, what's done is done. There's nothing I can do about it, only to hope for the best!
Then for the second paper. There was a "综合填空". That means, you choose the correct option for the passage between the 4 choices. It may seem easy, but, believe me, its not as easy as it seems. The 4 given options were so freaking close to each other! Only if you actually knew the word and how it was used, then you can choose the right answer. I think got some words that we haven't learnt one. That's why they asked us to read more books. Oh wells.
After that, there were 4 comprehension passages. 2 were relatively short, got one short answer question, some MCQs and 2 questions on finding the words from the passage. Half-way while doing the first comprehension, I remembered that the passages behind were worth a whooping 50 marks! That's more than half the total paper!
So i skipped the 2nd comprehension passage to finish the 2 passages behind, which were so long! All the questions, or most of them, were basically thinking questions, that means, the answer CANNOT be found in the passage! INFERRING! I had until 1.13 to finish the paper, but, it was only 12.17 when I was finishing the summary part, which happens to be the LAST question of the entire paper! Excluding the front passage, though.
So, SURPRISINGLY, I finished the paper at 12.40. Then I was like sitting there, staring at the clock,wondering HOW IN THE WORLD DID I FINISH THE 2 HOUR PAPER IN 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES!!!
I thought that maybe I had missed a question or something, then I checked. HELL NO! All the questions were done and for the comprehension part, I had written quite alot for the answers! Having nothing to do, I decided to take a nap, but was disrupted from my break. Thus I decided to just stare and pretend to check my papers.
But then, I ended up counting the total marks for the whole paper, when the marks was already on the front page! After that, goodness knows how, I ended up, trying to count and figure out how they counted the overall marks for our streaming! Oh wells, I was bored.
Somehow, I survived throught the 40 minute wait! REJOICE!
