Back from ATC!
Thinking back, I really had fun during the past few days. Although it was not THAT exciting, after all those activities, I feel that it was really fun.
ATC DAY 1
We got into our groups and pitched our tents. Since Crescent was sitting at the front of each group, we ended up being the group ICs. Then we checked our logistics and pitched our tents. We (Crescentians) found out that other schools and other areas have many different ways of pitching tents and pegging. My group's tent ended up quite nicely and we finished rather early, so we walked around to help the other groups and then we went up to the boys' campsite to help them with pitching their tent. Found out that some of them do not know how to fold the door flap up, so we had to do it for them, while they just stood there, staring. Then we had dinner/wash-up time. After that, the camp OC gave a short speech and then we were told our group's CIs and spilt up to talk and interact with our group CI. Lights out at 11. Talked for a while and then left to sleep.
ATC DAY 2
Had to fall in by 6 am. Flag raising and then we had pt. It was not as bad as I thought. This pt and the pt we did in school had a VERY VERY VERY BIG gap in between. But the pt made our shirts dirty, since the floor was wet with morning dew. Then we had breakfast. My group had Pioneering, followed by lunch, Land Expeditition and lastly, ATF. ATF was fun since my group got to do the Jane and Tarzan obstacles. The Sir said that they very rarely open up those 2 obstacles, and he had only opened it twice in his life there, us being the second group. Then we had wash-up and a quick dinnner, which was followed by the campfire. We had to go to the sec3s campsite for it. We cheered all the way there and fall in-ed at the foyer. Then we were told that we had almost an hour to practise for the campfire performance. So we went to the field to practise and add some cheers on since we didnt have enough time. Then the ma'ams joined us. After the campfire, we went to celebrate our Sir's birthday! That night was a marathon night, so everyone could go to sleep at anytime before 2am.
ATC DAY 3
Fall in at 6am. Then unpitched our tents and then had area cleaning. Sadly, mine and hyeon's group got the toilet duty.
SORRY HYEON!
After that, we did a cheer together with area 20. Then we set off to the sec3s ATC campsite. Found out that we were waiting for the van to take us back tot he jetty. Did some cheers while waiting for the van. Well, at least the other school let us go first, since we were girls. Then we left for the main island. On the bus back to the school, most of the people were sleeping. It was so fun on the bus, for those who paid attention. =)))
Thinking back, there were many beautiful memories shared with Area 20 and Shuqun Sec during the ATCamp.
SOMETIMES I WONDER...
Is everything lost once we leave the world?
Once we leave this wonderful world, is all that we learn lost? Are the differences that we have made gone? Will the world grieve for another's departure? People are dying everyday, every hour, every minute, and yet, people are born almost when others are dying.
