today was the corporal promotion for the lance corporals. we didnt know we had to fall in by 815, we thought it was 745, so most of us came early. they had some commands that we (dhanu and i-corporals) hadnt learnt or hadnt had much practice with, so we werent very clear with the drills.
lluckily i brought my extra hairnet and eight clips, if not their hair cannnot pin up le. sheesh. oh wells.
then after changing, we found out that we had another problem. we didnt have enough people to form a three rank squad. there were only 9 people (including me and dhanu). in order to form a three rank squad, we had to have at least 10 people. so me and dhanu started calling our squadmates to see if they could come.
after a while, all of them said they couldnt come. then dhanu decided to ask hazzie again. this time, hazzie said she could come but that she'd be late. oh wells. meanwhile, we had our uniform checks and got our crime prevention badges and neightbourhood watch bronze badges! =DDD nice. but not nice to pin on. sheesh.
anyways, the promo was alright at the start. then after a while, ma'am said we had to get the batons and frops from the np room, so we went to get. then those who were tkaing the promo said they learnt he drill called withdrawal at the last-minute,so they werent sure of it. well, me, dhanu and hazzie didnt even know the drill.
after that all, me dhanu and hazzie waited while the lcps had their hurricane lamp test. anyway, sab came down to support them. =)
hmms. then after that, we went to lunch at tiong. they didnt go for tkd since we had no time. at the mrt station at redhill, we were stopped from going in the mrt by ma'ams. after that, seeing that bk had no space for us, we decided to go kfc to eat. apparently the ma'ams were there, and the only place we could sit was directly behind them. sheesh.
hmms. then somehting happened. hazzie's sad still. HAZZIE, DONT BE SAD!

sheesh. i dun think i had better talk about this. oh wells. poor hazzie.
